Did anyone have time to try out the code that Manarth submitted, looks promising. Is there a way of fixing the proxy settings that get wiped as well? Not such a bad problem on a small scale but on a larger scale, horrendous.

I have upgraded the CPUs in my MacPro 1,1 to X5355, had no problems at all in Leopard, and after updating to Lion after 1 month I had a first KP, so what is the solution for me?

to use Mac Pro 2006-2007 Firmware Tool to go to 2,1?

Thanks for posting this. It worked for my iPhone 4, IOS5. Camera was taking photos but crashing before saving. Option 2 for IOS5 – plus two restarts – fixed the thumbnails from the Camera app, and then the Albums in the Photos app.

Hi, I have an iphone 3S and when upgrading to ios5 all photos disappeared. Now i tried both trix mentioned, but nothing works… I only get back the photos from my last backup, which is from while back. all my photos and videos from august til now are vanished. Please, help!!! I will change operator and get a new iphone 4s tomorrow so it feels like the time is running out for me to get back these photos

@Manarth – I’m not sure why the code got stripped out of your test comment, I’ll have to look into that. Thanks for taking the time to post you comment though and put the code on pastebin. I’ve copied the code from pastebin into your comment above for people to see.
